One important benefit of being a member of CEA is the availability of grants and scholarships. These funding opportunitites are only available to members, and can go a long way to offsetting your dues!
Locally, CEA offers the following grants to our members:
This grant allows members to apply for up to $200 to fund worthwhile classroom activities that may not otherwise be funded. Applications for this grant are due by noon on Friday, November 12, and you can get more information opportunity now!
This year, the Chandler Education Association will be awarding five $500.00 scholarships (a total of $2,500.00 in scholarship money) to graduating seniors who will be attending any university or college and who has a family member (grandparent, aunt, uncle, mother or father) who is a CEA member. Applications are due by Friday, April 9, 2010. To apply for this scholarship, just download an application form, complete it, and send it to the CEA Scholarship Committee at P.O. Box 3970, Chandler, AZ, 85224. You can also view a scoring rubric to know how your application will be judged.
