Welcome to the new Chandler Education Association website. The mission of CEA is:

an advocate for its members and the issues which affect them

CEA Softball Tournament on October 30, 2010

softball and gloveLooking for a fun way to support CEA, earn money for your school, and enjoy some time with your colleagues? CEA is sponsoring our first annual Play for our Schools Softball Tournament on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Snedigar Sports Complex. The tournament will be an 8-team, double elimintation tournament, and is open to members and non-members alike. Spouses and friends are invited as well; however, each team must be comprised of 25% CUSD employees and must be 50/50 men and women. Our PAC is gearing up for some heavy activity as we prepare for the 2010 election. AEA Supports Penny Kotterman

Penny KottermanAt the Arizona EA Delegate Assembly in April of 2009, AEA delegates voted to endorse Penny Kotterman for Superintendent of Public Instruction in the 2010 election. Penny has over 30 years of experience in public education, including over 20 years in the classroom and 6 years as AEA President. You can learn more about Penny's campaign by visiting her website.
