Welcome to the Chandler Education Association website. The mission of CEA is:
to be involved in all aspects of the educational process and
an advocate for its members and the issues which affect them
We hope this website can help you stay informed about issues surrounding education, and to be a strong advocate for yourself and your profession.
This year, the Chandler Education Association will be awarding four $500.00 scholarships (a total of $2,000.00 in scholarship money) to graduating seniors who will be attending any university or college and who has a family member (grandparent, aunt, uncle, mother or father) who is a CEA member. The Scholarship Committee will review all applications and award the four scholarships based on scholastic standing, character, and community involvement. All applications must be postmarked by midnight on Friday, April 17, 2015. For more information on this scholarship, or to apply for this scholarship, please visit our Scholarship Page.
Thank to you to all of our members who were willing to serve their professional association in a leadership capacity. Congratulations to the following members who were elected to CEA positions:

|NEA RA||Shaun Creighton
The Arizona Legislature is in session, and it is critically important to stay informed on proposed bills that affect our profession. We urge all members to sign up for the AEA Legislative Update, a helpful e-mail subscription that will keep you updated on what's happening at the capitol. It will even offer you easy ways to make your voice heard when important legislation is up for consideration. Subscribe today, and be sure to use your home e-mail address or cell phone!
Thanks to the hard legal work of AEA, payroll deduction has now returned as an option for dues payments! If you are a current member, simply download and complete the payroll deduction authorization form, then return the form to LeAnna Farmer at the District Office. New members can simply select payroll deduction as their dues payment option.
In order to engage all of our members, we offer many ways to stay connected to CEA. In addition to our website, members can look for us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter. We also urge all members to subscribe to the AEA Legislative Update so they can find out what's happening at the state level and how to take action when needed. We hope you'll stay connected so we can provide a powerful, unified voice for you!
